Mushroom Church Community in Maine Serving a Return to the Sacred

Who are we?

Psanctuary is a robust community spanning multiple states and bolstered by over 500 devoted members and 150 ordained ministers. The Mission of Psanctuary is to bring people together for healing and connection to divine revelation through communion with sacred mushrooms. Maine is home to 70 members and ministers. It is in this spirit that we're thrilled to announce our participation as an Anchor Sponsor at the Maine Fungi Fest. This year, Psanctuary will host its own dedicated area, offering an array of enriching experiences for all attendees.

Pre-Maine Fungi Fest

Psilobration

May 15-16

Venue
Mount Desert Island, Maine

Psilobration, a joyful gathering limited to 30 participants, including ministers and the support team - funds raised go toward Maine Fungi Fest community activities and events. Set against Mount Desert Island's serene backdrop, our celebration is a light-hearted communion with a low dose (1-3g) of sacrament, with ordained ministers and support staff holding space. Enjoy a nourishing post-communion meal and breakfast, camp under starlit canopies, and immerse in togetherness. (As always, preparation and integration will be a top-priority.) Join our Psilobration— for a unique event blending joy, connection, nature, and the sacred mushroom's embrace.

A tapestry of sacred connection unfolds as we invite you to our very first Maine Psilobration—an intimate ceremony of celebration reserved exclusively for a small number of Psanctuary members. Join us in the lightness of spirit and the joy of connection, set against the backdrop of Mount Desert Island's serene beauty.

Our Activities @ MFF

  • Engage in enlightening discussions at our educational hall, which features over a dozen themed talks centered around 'Return to the Sacred'. Thru panel discussion, presentations, and demonstrations, we aim to provide inspiration and food for thought around the topic of sacredness and how it relates to us individually and collectively.

  • Unwind and revitalize at our wellness lounge tent, providing a sanctuary for public rejuvenation. We offer presence, prayer, and connection with Psanctuary church members. To bring joy and a space to meditate or relax. Find a book, water, and perhaps a new friend. Throughout the day, practitioners will offer Sound Healing, Reiki, and Breathwork.

  • How do you Return to the Sacred in everyday life?

If you feel called, join us in contributing to the “Return to the Sacred” tree, highlighting how we all connect, stay grounded, and explore ourselves and the world around us.
