“Novel Uses for Forbidden Medicines: The Psychedelics Reemerge”

Saturday, 10.30 am

Psychedelic medicines are fast tracked for FDA approval for the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, but what are other applications that are not frequently discussed? During this session we will explore topics and applications not regularly discussed by the medical establishment including end of life, physical pain, mystical experiences, and “woo-woo” (things that researchers struggle to be able to measure or explain). We will also step out into lesser discussed substances such as DMT and ibogaine and how they may fit within medical applications. Tasha Lary, PMHNP will join as a co-host.
